Singalila Trek

General Background

The Yambong Singalila range is a part of eastern Himalayas from where the view embraces five summits rising above 7000m, amongst them Everest, Makalu and Lhotse of Nepal, Mt. Khangchendzonga, Mt. sinolchu in Sikkim. You will trek on the narrow paths adjacent to Indo-Nepali border. The elevation ranging from 1800 to 8583 meters above mean sea level consisting of lower hill, middle and higher hills, alpine zones and snow bound land.

  • Day 4 :- Naya Patal to Lower Yambong - 7 km / 5 hours - 3300 m
  • Day 5 :- Lower Yambong to Upper Yambong - 6 km / 4 hours - 3735 m
  • Day 6 :- Upper Yambong to Gomathang - 5 km / 4 hours - 3735 m
  • Day 7 :- Gomathang to Pangding - 5 km / 4 hours - 4210 m
  • Day 8 :- Pangding to Dzongri - 9 km / 6 hours - 3735 m
  • Day 9 :- Dzongri to Lamune - 7 km / 5 hours - 4164 m
  • Day 10 :- Lamune - Teen Kune -Thangsing - 8 km / 7 hours - 3936 m
  • Day 11 :- Thangsing to Tshoka - 10 km / 4 hours - 3018 m
  • Day 12 :- Tshoka to Yuksam - 16 km / 6 hours - 1780 m
